Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The event of a disaster such as a major earthquake, there is a need to convey quickly and accurately disaster information to victims. However, for the Deaf, which does not native speakers of Japanese, it is not easy to read the emergency information from a text-based system quickly and accurately. Although sought Video communication systems can interact with sign language, it is difficult to transmit a video file of a large capacity slower access. In this study, constituted by the moment of the image that appears is the spatial characteristics of the sign language (key frame), it aims to build a system that transmits information using the compressed video. In sign language, it is known that content transmission by mutual confirmation is important, so it is known that sign language video of unidirectional information transmission can not acquire sufficient information with one video reproduction. In this paper, we report on the relationship between the number of viewing times and understanding of contents when deaf people read sign language video by sign language video reading analysis experiment.
