A low-power reception method of emergency wake-up signal based on TMCC parity agreement for ISDB-T mobile television receivers

Abstract(in English) In ISDB-T terrestrial digital television systems, it is possible to wake up television receivers with the special signal sent from the broadcaster when in emergency. A method of reliably determining the wake-up signal has been proposed using the parity of TMCC, a control signal and also used for the wake-up signal. This report proposes decreasing the receiver power consumption by determining the reliability of the wake-up signal. The reliability is obtained comparing the bit sequence of reception TMCC with the bit sequence associated with a condition of the wake-up signal.
