Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this research, we aim to classify various physical contacts from users on a stuffed-toy robot. There are various types of physical contacts, and we focused on identifying the way of touching: stroking, hugging and hugging. To estimate the emotion of the user hidden behind, we used its strength, contact time length, etc. for dynamic observe and analyses of the pressure maps of cloth pressure sensors contained in stuffed toy’s head and back. In this paper, we report our data-acquisition experiment and the results of analyses.
