Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, a design of CSD (Canonic Signed Digit) coefficient FIR (Finite Impulse Response) filters using GA (Genetic Algorithm) is described. Then, the multiple population GA is proposed. This method has three populations with different available total number of nonzero digits. In this case, it is considered that the design performance depends on available total number of nonzero digits. Several design examples are shown to present the design performance.
