| Abstract(in English) | In this study, we conducted an experiment of cognition of emotional purity on Chinese and Japanese people using angry/joyful voices, in order to investigate the differences in emotional intensity contained in the voices of Chinese and Japanese, As a result, compared with Japanese emotional speech, it was found that not only feelings of anger or joy but also those of other emotions were likely to be perceived in Chinese emotional speech. It was also suggested that Chinese emotional speech contains characteristics similar to other emotions than Japanese emotional speech. This is considered to be one of the factors that makes it difficult to recognize emotion by Chinese voices than Japanese voices. |
