Abstract(in English) | In order to prevent occupational accidents caused by machines, it is necessary to carry out risk assessment of work at the stage of machine use. However, if a person who is not sufficiently familiar with the hazard intends to conduct a risk assessment of work, various difficulties are considered, such as identification of hazard and confirmation of validity of risk assessment. For this reason, we propose a simple risk assessment method for small-scale enterprises, starting from the harm easy to understand for machine users. In this method, typical disaster cases were extracted for 16 types of machines which account for nearly 80% of disasters caused by machines. We propose backwards inference using statistical methods by IMTOC representation. Where I is industry, M is machine, T is type of accident, O is operation of work, C is cause and countermeasures. This is different from the conventional method of performing deterministic forward inference starting from hazard. This report aims to achieve the simplified risk assessment method by standardizing and simplifying the risk assessment method and the risk reduction strategy for work repeatedly occurring in the past in occupational accidents. |
