[Special Invited Talk] Study on Network Design and Control Based on Quality of Experience

Abstract(in English) QoE (Quality of Experience) is a metric that depends on users’ experience or satisfaction with communication services and has attracted a lot of attention in future communication systems such as fifth generation (5G) mobile networks. In this article, we briefly introduce subjective quality and objective quality assessment methods for QoE, and consider network design and control based on the objective assessment methods by evaluating the performance of a simple simulation scenario. We then discuss technical issues in order to design and control networks efficiently in various environments.
