Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We describe the recent coherent digital signal processing technique for beyond 100Gbit/s transmission in optical communications. At first, we review the modulation and demodulation technique to generate spectral efficient multi-level modulation format signal. After that, a field experiment of flexible modulation format adaptation on a real-time 400 Gbit/s DSP-LSI is presented as one of the application of coherent DSP supporting plural modulation formats. Then, baud-rate improving technology using analog multiplexer is shown for future beyond 100Gbit/s coherent DSP.
