Abstract(in English) | This paper introduces an energy efficient wireless power transfer system in wide load range. In this system, according to change of receiver side power consumption, the driving voltage of the transmitter coil is automatically adjusted. Switching loss can be reduced in proportion to the square of the driving voltage. Therefore, this system can improve total system efficiency. To promote power control speed, the driving voltage is not locally regulated but automatically determined by total system. Test chips are fabricated in 180-nm LDMOS process. This system achieved maximum power efficiency of 50.9% when the output power is 0.5W. |
