| Abstract(in English) | Error correction codes are mainly applied to communication systems. From 1980s, satellite communication was main application destination of error correction codes, and mobile communication systems and optical communication systems have been also main application recently . At first, convolutional code was mainly applicable to communication systems, and afterwards turbo code and LDPC code are widely used in various communication systems. In 5G radio access, Polar code will be newly applied due to the demands of the low latency and good performance. In this paper,we look back the history of error correction codes ,and we state about a future development of error correction codes. |
