Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we fabricated micro-voids between core and cladding layer of a single-mode glass optical fiber by femtosecond-laser processing. The structure of micro-voids induced cladding-mode of propagating light. We succeeded in measuring characteristic of transmitted radiations by immobilization of palladium nanoparticles which change a permittivity as an absorption hydrogen gases around cladding.
