Abstract(in English) | Though the several sensing characteristics of the fiber Bragg gratings (FBG) inscribed in perfluorinated graded-index (PFGI-) plastic optical fiber (POF) have been investigated, no reports have been provided regarding their pressure dependence. In this paper, we investigate the hydrostatic pressure dependence of the Bragg wavelength of a PFGI-POF-FBG. In the experimental results, the Bragg wavelength shift was negligibly small. However, when the pressure was maintained at 0.5 MPa, the Bragg wavelength shifted as time proceeded until 150 min later. After that, the Bragg wavelength exhibited a negative dependence on pressure with a coefficient of -0.13 nm/MPa. |
