Abstract(in English) | In this paper, multicarrier transmission is performed by using a bandpass type (BP) ΔΣ modulator in an orthogonal modulation type (QM) envelope pulse width modulation (EPWM) transmitter. By forming a plurality of frequency zero points of the noise transfer function of the ΔΣ modulator, it is possible to perform noise shaping in a plurality of frequency bands, and multi-carrier transmission becomes possible. We adopted Low-IF method using Weber method as image signal suppression method, and generated multiple IF signals as multicarrier transmitter. This transmitter is evaluated by combining digital signal processing simulation with QM-BPEPWM and microwave circuit simulation with H bridge Class D power amplifier. As a result, power efficiency and modulation accuracy equivalent to that of the conventional QM-EPWM transmitter were obtained. |
