Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Much effort has been made to design and establish molecular machine based on biochemistry, organic metal chemistry, supra-molecules, polymer chemistry, inorganic chemistry. A molecular robot is an artificial molecular system that is built by integrating molecular machine possessing sensors and intelligence. Molecular programming is one of the technology to create molecular machine by designing the sensing system. Through this work, the synthesis of a calixarene-based dual boron-dipyrrin system was accomplished by the condensation of diformylcalixarene and pyrrole. The boron-dipyrrin system show high association constants and selective binding properties for rare earth metal complexes. The results of preliminary photo-physical characterization as sensing system will be also reported.
