Abstract(in English) | The illumination light communications utilizing LED light that use illumination light for data transmission are received interest. The dimming control function which the illumination brightness can be controled should not be compromised by the data transmission function. The bit error rate performance of the illumination light communications deteriorates by co-channel interference from neighboring LEDs. Therefore, one of the problems encountered in the illumination light communications is to design a data transmission scheme having a dimmingcontrol function and a method for reducing the influence of co-channel interference from neighboring LEDs. The variable N-parallel code shift keying (VN-CSK) system with the modified prime sequence code (MPSC) has been proposed for the illumination light communications. The VN-CSK system with MPSC has not only a suppression function for reducing the influence of co-channel interference from neighboring LEDs, but also a function for keeping constant data transmission efficiency regardless of dimming control. In this paper, the bit error rate performances of the VN-CSK system with MPSC are evaluated under the illumination light communication channel. As a result, the VN-CSK system which assigns the different group of MPSC to neighboring LEDs has better than that which assigns the same group of MPSC in bit error rate performance. |
