[Poster Presentation] Effects of Clipping and Quantization on the Performance of Superposed Spatial ACO-OFDM

Abstract(in English) We have been focused on LCD-camaera communications whitch is one of the visible light communications (VLCs) and we have previously proposed Superposed Spatial ACO-OFDM that is superposed two different Spatial ACO-OFDM signals. However, amplitude of the transmitted signal is limited on LCD-camera communications. In this paper, we investigate the influence of amplitude limitation and quantization on LCD-camera communication system. As a result, it is clarified that the optimum amplitude limitation level is 15 [dB]. Moreover, when the amplitude limitation level is set to 15 [dB], it is clarified that the bit error rate of Superposed Spatial ACO-OFDM is better than that of the conventional Spatial ACO-OFDM about 4 [dB].
