Abstract(in English) Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system with a large number of antennas (i.e., massive MIMO) at the base station (BS), has been investigated to improve spectral efficiency. However, the knowledge of channel state information (CSI) at the BS is needed for downlink pre-coding. In time division duplex (TDD) scheme, the channel estimation (CE) based on multiplexed pilot symbols in the uplink may be used. In this paper, we evaluate uplink BER performance of massive MIMO/TDD system using an uplink channel estimation based on two-dimensional pilot multiplexing over frequency and delay-time domain through computer simulation.
