Abstract(in English) In this paper, in order to provide low-latency multimedia processing, we propose an edge cloud system utilizing OpenStack. To achieve the low-latency processing, the proposed system partitions the application as several “functions” (i.e., slicing) and connects these several functions with an edge network (i.e., chaining). Because the system is deployed on OpenStack, the system enables to use computing and network resources efficiently. Evaluation results conclude that our system achieves the low-latency computing platform compared with conventional cloud computing.
