[Invited Lecture] 2.4-GHz High-Impedance Rectifier

Abstract(in English) I report design and fabrication process of a 2.4-GHz high-impedance rectifier which competed in Radio Frequency Rectifier Competition held by IEICE Technical Committee on Wireless Power Transfer in 2017 IEICE General Conference. While the competition aimed to high rectification efficiency in 50-Ohm system at 10-mW input, such a quite small load impedance that 50 $Omega$ made it difficult to achieve high efficiency. To mitigate this difficulty, I took a strategy of inserting a DC--DC converter at the output so as to get a high load impedance seen from the rectifier. The rectifier employing this strategy marked 55.0% of efficiency and won second prize.
