[Invited Lecture] 6.78-MHz Current Doubler Rectifier with High-Q Inductor

Abstract(in English) This technical report talks about prototyping of a 6.78-MHz current doubler rectifier in which an inductor with high unloaded Q factor is used for impedance matching. The rectifier was fabricated for Radio Frequency Rectifier Competition, sponsored by IEICE Technical Committee on Wireless Power Transfer, held in 2017 IEICE General Conference, and recorded the highest power conversion efficiency of 76.7% in the competition. The key points of the fabrication are choice of the efficient rectifier topology and low-loss impedance matching. Focusing on these two points, the process to select current doubler, and what I minded when I designed the high-Q inductor are noted.
