Zynq-based Coprocessor Development Environment for Cryptography with Advanced Functionality and Its Evaluation

Abstract(in English) Bilinear pairing has a potential to produce a lot of new cryptographic protocols enabling advanced functionalities such as keyword search for an encrypted database, aggregation of individual signatures into a single one, and many others. Those functionalities are expected to support our future society with balanced efficiency and security and privacy. To overcome large computational complexity of pairing there is a strong demand to quest appropriate coprocessors to calculate pairings efficiently. To develop and evaluate such pairing coprocessors we need an appropriate platform environment. We propose such an environment enabling software engineers to use a pairing coprocessor without consciously thinking about its hardware architecture.
