Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Due to the Great East Japan Great Earthquake that occurred in 2011, the relay cable (route) connecting the telephone exchange offices was disconnected and the communication ceased. Since there is a possibility that large-scale earthquakes will continue in the future, it is necessary to design a route that is strong against disasters. In addition to the strength against disasters, route design also includes factors other than strength against disasters such as facility maintenance easiness. It is also necessary to take into consideration. In this paper, in order to make the route design which was conventionally carried out manually, the route designer selects a route from plural proposal routes. We propose routes satisfying the following requirements. 1. narrow down the route to a small number of routes which route designers can easily select. 2. since geographically close routes are of comparable strength against disasters, make it a route that is strongly and geographically dispersed in disasters. In response tothis requirement, we proposed an algorithm that divides the area into small areas (meshes) and uses a combination of meshes, which are highly likely to contain disaster-resistant routes. We report the effectiveness of an algorithm.
