Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The number of IOT applications in various industry fields have been extensively reported. Some of them make us recogize the feasibility of new business models, and some provide us with brand new models. Moreover, the recent progress of AI tends to bring up a new knowledge creation platform in conjunction with IOT. This report trys to analyze the basic structure of IOT as the possible platoform of "knowledge creation". It is clarified that a variety of IOT applications can be categorized into very limited number of business models. With this structural study, it is suggested that new theory of information science that should include conventional information theory, knowlegde engineering and data science should be extensively developped to support possible new industrial revolution over thw world.
