Abstract(in English) In this paper, we introduced the scattering and guiding problem of electromagnetic waves in inhomogeneous media by improved Fourier series expansion method, and shows that this solution has high accuracy in electromagnetic field ,and also can analyze the photonic crystal and applicability to metamaterial.
