| Abstract(in English) | In recent years, much attention has been given to plasmonic devices for optical waveguides. In this work, we analyze transmission characteristic for the junction between a metal-insulator-metal plasmonic waveguide of metal funnel and a taper silicon strip or slot waveguide by two dimensional finite element method, and investigate in detail a structure which maximizes transmission efficiency at the junction. |
