Abstract(in English) This report investigates amplitude death in a pair of two-dimensional reaction diffusion models with Turing patterns coupled by a diffusive connection. A linear stability analysis of a spatially uniform steady state allows us to design connection parameters which can induce amplitude death. The analytical results are confirmed by numerical simulations of coupled Brusselator models. This report extends our previous report [Konishi and Hara, IEICE Tech. Rep. NLP2016-1] into two-dimensional models.
