Estimating Lyapunov Exponents for Reconstructed Two-dimensional Bifurcation Diagrams

Abstract(in English) We describe a method for reconstruction of two-dimensional bifurcation diagrams with Lyapunov exponents from only several time series data sets. By reconstructing the bifurcation diagrams, we estimate the oscillatory patterns when parameters change. To quantitatively evaluate the reconstruction, we have estimated the Lyapunov exponents for the reconstructed one-dimentional bifurcation diagrams. In this paper, we estimate the Lyapunov exponents for the reconstructed two-dimentional bifurcation diagrams. We also present the results of numerical experiments on comparison between the Lyapunov exponents of the original and reconstructed bifurcation diagrams.
