Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) When a parson carry out higher brain activity such as cognition and memory, EEGs recorded from differ- ent region contain same frequency component at the same time. This brain synchronization is related to memory and cognitive mechanisms. In previous study, Hilbert Huang Coherence Coherence(HHC) analysis using Hilbert Huang transform has been proposed as a method of analyzing the degree of synchronization. In this study, The applicable condition and effectiveness in synchronization degree analysis is investigated by numerical simulation. As result of simulation, The truth turned out that HHC’s ability to estimated synchronous frequecny and time is superior to Coherence analysis using Fourier and Morlet-Wavelet transform in synchronization degree analysis of the signal which has each frequency component more than twice as far apart.
