Data Collection Method using Data Collection with DTN in Participatory Sensing and Data Interpolation

Abstract(in English) With the spread of mobile terminals that include sensors, participatory sensing is attracting attention for collecting measurement data using smartphones. Although there are two key advantages to this approach, its low cost and wide range of sensing, there is a problem of data collection in areas missing sensing since observers do not always exist in the areas. Moreover, there is a problem of how to collect data in an environment where network infrastructure does not function. In this paper, we propose a new collection method with DTN and interpolating the information of the missing part in the observation area. Simulation results show that proposed method can collect data with higher precision than cases of Epidemic Routing in DTN.
