| 抄録(和) | 衛星通信は、実用化以降めざましい発展を遂げ、用途の拡大と多様化が進んだ。その発展は、新技術の研究開発とともに、事業企画や法規制の整備により支えられた。これらの観点から衛星通信の発展の経緯を俯瞰し、注目すべきトピックスについて、取り組みと実績を分析する。これにより得られた知見と今後考慮すべき課題を提示する。特に、衛星通信では周波数に加えて軌道位置の確保と有効利用が重要であり、品質規定や稼働率のあり方、他の無線業務との周波数共用などについて、基礎研究の成果が期待される課題を示す。課題の解決を通じて、国際協調と国際競争力の向上を図る重要性を述べる。 |
| 抄録(英) | Satellite communications have made remarkable progress and application services have been expanding in various areas. Successful development has been supported not only by research of new technologies but also by business planning and regulations. From these viewpoints, this presentation makes an overview of the development of satellite communications. Based on the analysis of development process, lessons learnt and subjects for further study are presented. As effective use of frequency spectrum and satellite orbit is essential for satellite communications, subjects for further research are presented with regard to performance objective, availability, and frequency sharing with other radio services. Importance is emphasized for international cooperation and competitiveness based on the solutions for these subjects. |
