A Study on Effective Caching Scheme for Information Centric Network-based Wireless Sensor Network

Abstract(in English) This paper addresses an efficient and novel caching scheme for the information centric network (ICN)-based wireless sensor network (WSN). In particular, we introduce the overhearing phenomena (that is the feature of the specific wireless communications) into the off-path caching scheme, and we propose the protocol design in order to realize the proposed mechanism. In the numerical result, we reveal that the amount of stored sensing data could increase by using exhaustive Monte Carlo computer simulations in comparison with the comparable method (without using any off-path caching mechanism). As a result, the proposed system achieves the effective content delivery for the users who request the sensing data.
