Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this study, we propose a web-based application for retrieving MathML-formatted math expressions which have two-dimensional structures involving fractions, matrices, differential or integral symbols, based on a pattern-matching algorithm. This method also allows users to use various regular expressions stipulated in our system for realizing fuzzy search, which helps often in the retrieval of mathematical expressions. In addition, one of the applications of the tool enables the proposal of a system framework that extracts mathematical concepts from an inputted math expression for educational purposes.
