Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Aqueous solutions with addition of sodium salicylate (NaSal) or sodium toluenesulfonate (NapTS) as organic salts to cetyltrimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) as surfactant form threadlike micelles. FFT analyses of the vibration component of the ultrasonic induced birefringence and analyses of the relaxation mode were carried out by changing $C_D$, fixing the $C_S - C_D = 20mM$ where the surfactant molarity is $C_D$ and the organic salt molarity is $C_S$. As the $C_S$ increased, the peak frequency of the vibration mode with the largest amplitude increased. The peak frequency was consistent between solutions with addition of NaSal and of NapTS system. Relaxation time increases with increasing $C_S$. It is suggested that the origin of relaxation time in this study are different from that obtained by rheological measurements.
