Kansei analysis of landscape images by Tensor SOM

Abstract(in English) In the field of Kansei evaluation, it is investigated and analyzed by using evaluation words with various subjects and objects. However, the combination of the subjects, the objects, and the evaluation words is enormous, and exhaustive analysis is not easy. In this paper, we propose a method to simultaneously analyze their relationship. Tensor SOM, the proposed method, enables to visualize the relation by simultaneously generating three maps corresponding to subjects, objects, and evaluation words. Furthermore, Tensor SOM enables to visualize the relationship by coloring. We show the results of visualization of the relationship among subject, object, and evaluation word by analyzing the set of landscape images.
