Elementary cellular automata and dynamic binary neural networks

Abstract(in English) This paper studies basic dynamic of elementary cellular automata(ECA):digital dynamical systems in which time, space and states are alldiscrete. Depending on the rule, the ECA can exhibit a variety of spatiotemporal patterns.In order to analyze the dynamics, we visualize the dynamics on the digital return map and introduce two feature quantities. Performing numerical experiment for basic examples, typical phenomena are demonstrated and are considered. Also, we have clarified that a basic class of ECA is equivalent to DBNNs with local connection.
