Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | The digital spiking neuron(DSN) is constructed by two shift-resistors connected by a wiring. Depending on the wiring pattern, the DSN can generate a variety of periodic spike-trains. The spike-trains are applicable to image segmentation, spike-based communication, and so on. This paper introduces basic dynamics of the DSN andpresents a ring-coupled system of the DSN. The coupled system can exhibit in-phase and multi-phase synchronization phenomena. Using typical example of the coupled systems, verilog simulation is performed and synchronization phenomena are confirmed. Stability of the synchronization phenomena is also considered. |
