Abstract(in English) In order to improve the efficiency of next generation WLAN under dense environment, the IEEE 802.11ax task group has adopted among others the uplink (UL) Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA) random access scheme. UL OFDMA random access requires optimized transmission parameters for efficient operation. While this has been achieved by our previous work, the proposed model did not consider that retransmission is limited up to a number set by the STAs. In this report, we extended our previous work to include finite retry limit in the STAs. We also show through simulations the accuracy of the proposed analytical model in terms of predicted efficiency and packet drop probability.
