Abstract(in English) | Power packet networks and routers have been developed. The destination address is added to each power packet, which will be dispatched to arbitrary loads via some routers. This system enables to reduce the wires, improve the fault tolerance, and optimize the transmission of the electric power and it is expected to apply to cars and robots and so on. However, the delay is large due to lower bit rate than the information networks. Then, in this study, we use the label switching for the routing protocol in the power packet network. In this method, router address is added to each packet and the power packet is routed immediately after reading the router address and the delay in reading the header can be reduced. In the previous study, the controller part reading the header is implemented by the microcontroller board. In this report, we implemented the proposed protocol on the power packet routers that can generate the high frequency and high voltage packets and confirmed its effectiveness. |
