Information Retrieval and Estimation of Geometrical State of Information Embedded Marker Using Printed Image

Abstract(in English) Data embedding and extracting method to printed images with mobile devices has been proposed. In this paper, we propose that this method is applied to make a marker which is used for marker based augmented reality (AR). The AR marker provides a content and relative geometrical relation between a capture device and the marker. The content can be obtained by the embedded data in the printed image, however, the acquisition of the relative geometrical relation has not been considered. Therefore, the acquisition method for which the frame for geometrical correction of the printed image is used is proposed. The effectiveness of the proposed method is shown through the data detection rates of the images captured from several positions.
