Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We proposed a noise reduction method for a wideband component in transient noise superposed on speech. This method reduces the wideband noise by Wiener filtering with noise present frame detection based on 4th order cumulant. However, it cannot eliminate the narrow band component in transient noise. In this paper, we propose a noise reduction method for not only wideband but also narrowband noise. The proposed method enhances speech in noisy speech by introducing least mean fourth (LMF) adaptive algorithm into a linear predictor. In addition, the noise reduction ability of the linear prediction is improved by the results of the noise present frame detection.
