A Study for estimate the human behavior based on household electricity consumption

Abstract(in English) Recently, the number of accident, which the elderly people living alone tend to increase. The watching system using camera is already served for households. However, there are cases who resident feel uncomfortable because they are watched always. DENKEN corporation try to develop the new watching system with Home Energy Management System(HEMS) instead of camera. In the new watching system, the electricity consumption of short interval because to estimate the state of the resident in real time is measured, and the human activity is detected based on the variation. However, some of the household appliances increase the electricity consumption temporally. Namely, it causes false detection. In this paper, we propose the algorithm that maintain real time and high detection accuracy with two method.
