Scalable Copyright Protection using Lossless Information Hiding

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a copyright protection method based on lossless information hiding which realizes resolution scalability. Conventional schemes need to receive a whole image for information extraction even if the user requests a reduced image. The proposed method is able to extract copyright information even from the reduced image. This paper also proposes the methods for tamper detection and image restoration, which work successfully regardless of changes in resolution.
