| Abstract(in English) | Recently, many interactive art works have been produced using a projector-camera system. In the case of using table-top type works, it is necessary to use an infrared camera to track viewers' hand gestures. However, few studies have been reported using hand gesture recognition with an infrared camera. In this study, we aim to prototype a system for recognizing desired hand gestures performed by viewers from infrared images and evaluate its accuracy. Concretely, we build a hand gesture recognition system using Co-occurrence histograms of oriented gradients and Random forests, and report the experimental results of its recognition performance. |
