Abstract(in English) In recent years, demonstration experiments of guidance robots have been conducted at Haneda Airport and other places for the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2020 and so on. In order for a robot to guide a person to a destination, it is necessary to know an environmental map around the location and a current location information on the map. The problem of simultaneously constructing and updating an environmental map and estimating self position has been studied in the past and is called SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping). Especially for a wide map like Haneda airport, it can be thought that an environment map is built more efficiently by using multiple robots, but it is needed to integrate environment maps constructed by each robot. In this research, we propose a new method for merging environmental maps.
