Abstract(in English) | A flexible ultrasonic probes were developed and conducted ultrasonic measurement from uneven surfaces and curved surfaces. Three probes were developed that single ultrasonic soft probe, linear array probe and matrix array probe, respectively. In the soft probe, the flaw detection of the weld zone, the thickness measurement of the pipe elbow portion, and the thickness measurement of the gingiva were described. Linear array probe imaged blood vessels in piping welds, mammary gland phantoms and wrists. Matrix array probe imaged thinning of pipe elbow part. With the linear array probe, it is possible to acquire a B mode image of the cross section of the specimen, and in the matrix array probe, it is possible to acquire a cross section and a planar image of the specimen. In the observation of the pipe elbow part, it was possible to confirm the depth of thinning in the cross sectional image and the shape of the thinning in the planar image. |
