On Customer Review-based Imitative Dynamics and Effects of Stealth Marketing

Abstract(in English) In this paper, we model consumers' behaviors based on customer review on the Web as a population game. The review-based consumers' behaviors are interpreted as a kind of imitative behaviors and are formulated as an imitative protocol. Their aggregate behavior that is generated by using law of large numbers and is called the mean dynamics is discussed. The stealth marketing is modeled by introducing a population of players who always post positive reviews of a certain product. We also discuss its influences on the consumers' behavior.
