Abstract(in English) | Recently, application of wireless communication technology to the medical field has advanced. We are aiming to realize mm-size ultra-small sensor for tablet equipped with chip that can wirelessly communicate in-body and out-body. The antenna of this wireless communication chip is mm size and it must be available for communication both in-body and out-body. As a conventional method of evaluating the antenna for in-body communication, a method of connecting the antenna directly to the coaxial cable is applied. However, since the size of the antenna for ultra-small sensor is mm size, the antenna element is smaller than coaxial cable and connector, so it is difficult to evaluate with this method. Therefore, we propose the antenna with vertical lecher line, which is not affected by surrounding medium. We showed that we could measure the reflection and propagation characteristics with this antenna. |
