Abstract(in English) This technical report reviews the OFC2017 postdeadline paper Th5D.1. Lowest-ever 0.1419 dB/km loss at 1560 nm wavelength was realized in a silica-core fiber with 1290 °C low fictive temperature, 147 μm2 large effective area and low microbending loss due to soft primary coating.
