Abstract(in English) | Recently young people easily commit cybercrime. Educational institutions have an obligation to implement compliance training in order to prevent young students from getting involved in cybercrime. This study aims to assess the level of knowledge about cybercrime among young students, to grasp differences in knowledge about cybercrime between Japanese and international students, and to measure the effect of introduction of incidents and cases familiar to young students in the lecture. A questionnaire survey revealed that there are many differences between international and Japanese students in terms of knowledge of cybercrime law but both students have insufficient knowledge. We found that a short lecture based on familiar incidents and cases brings a significant educational effect. |
