| Abstract(in English) | The aim of template matching is to find parts of an image that are correspondent to a given template. Template matching in transformed domain is more efficient than that in the spatial domain. In these methods, the template size was limited to be a power of two. In this paper, we propose a fast pattern matching method based on orthonormal tree-structured Haar transform, which allows to overcome the limitation of the template size. We demonstrate the pruning performance of the proposed method comparing the conventional method based on orthonormal Haar transform. |
